What Do I Need?

The bpt AGATA VC monitor was the last of the 200 series monitors, not to be confused with the AGATA V 2-wire monitor. Unfortuantaly there is no replacement video monitor for the AGATA VC, only the audio handset (LINK - AGTA200K) is available

All of the bticino 33xxxx part codes are now obsolte. bticino do not make any replacements for this analogue intercom system.

Bitron as a brand has ceased to trade, once existing stock is out, it is out. There are a few exceptions and alternatives.

Some speech units can be replaced by the Urmet 5150/500 or 5150/510, get in touch for more information.

In our experience the best option is to use the Comelit Universal handsets, other brands do not work as well. The 2603U has a larger base which is good for covering marks ont he wall, but has been superceeded and stocks will not last for long. The 2703U is the current replacemetn model.

Many people have asked baout replaceing the old Terraneo handsets. These are no longer in production and the manufacturer doe snot support this line anymore, but there are options.

With the correct conversion charts a Videx 3101 or BSTL 801 handset could work. Otehrwsie one of our "Universal Handsets" will do the job.

BSTL updated the product range and while the basic 801 handset is still available the S, P and PS version have been replaced with the XL5-LX.

S - On/Off switch and P - Privacy of Speech

The BSTL 500 Series handsets are no longer in production. The 500 Series had a lot of special varients and it is important to know whic one you had to get the correct replacement. The majority will be replaced with the BSTL XL5-LX

The older LT Terraneo systems have all been disconinued, but we are still able to get a replacement for the 654ADU, the 2659 is in production under special license to just a couple of comapnies and will act as a direct replacement.

While the old ALPHA range has reached the end of it's lifecycle, there are still replacement speaker units available for the ALPHA 25001 on a limited basis. We are also able to build complete new panels using a new replacement unit if needed.

It's common to recieved concerned calls about new fobs not working, this is usually because the fob has not been programmed into the system. We cannot do this for you before shipping the fobs, we do not have access to the controller. New fobs need to be learned into the system to work, so you'll need to find who has access to that, usually by requesting the resident's committee or managing agent to arrange it for you.

Once a popular easy to sell and install range, then ACTSMART2 was a powerful standalone range of proximity and coded keypad units that could be expanded to a simple network if the site grows. This product line ahs since been made obsolete and is no longer available. If you need the instructions or addional fobs then we can help, but if the unit is damaged then you are looking at a replacement from another brand.

Actually yes, there are soem options. But there are limitations. With AES we can do small audio systems and a video kit on DECT technology. It is very useful although can be a little limited on range. We have also now tested a working video solution in the office whihc should offer greater flexibility in real world applications.
